Ramallah-(BNEWS)– The National Bank (TNB) and Flow Accelerator have announced the signing of a partnership agreement under the “Orange Corners” program, supported by the Kingdom of Netherlands.
This program focuses on developing innovative technological solutions and transforming them from mere ideas into operational businesses by providing comprehensive support to young entrepreneurs, enabling them to access markets.
The agreement was signed by Reem Anani, Public Relations Manager at The National Bank, and Majd Khalifeh, Managing Director of Flow Accelerator.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Netherlands Ambassador to Palestine, Michel Rentenaar, CEO of The National Bank, Salameh Khalil, along with representatives from the Netherlands Representative Office (NRO)and members of TNB’s executive management team.
Commenting on the partnership, Reem Anani stated, "This partnership aligns with The National Bank’s vision to contribute to the advancement of technology in Palestine, leveraging it to address challenges facing various economic sectors, with a particular focus on financial technology. Moreover, it empowers young Palestinian entrepreneurs, providing them the platform to turn their innovative projects into reality. This effort directly contributes to job creation and fosters sustainable development in Palestine."
From her side, Majd Khalifeh highlighted, "This partnership represents a significant step forward in strengthening the role of the private sector within Palestine's entrepreneurial ecosystem. It builds upon the successes of the Orange Corners program over the past three years, recognized as one of the most impactful initiatives in supporting entrepreneurs. The program offers a comprehensive range of services, including specialized mentorship, business development services (BDS), targeted funding, and access to a broad network of partners and experts."
Khalifeh further emphasized, "This partnership showcases the successful collaboration between Flow Accelerator and The National Bank in fostering and advancing fintech solutions. It underlines the importance of cooperation between the private sector and accelerators in driving innovation and entrepreneurship in Palestine. Through this partnership, the program’s services will be further enhanced, enabling entrepreneurs to achieve sustainable growth and transform their ideas into successful ventures."
In addition to financial support, The National Bank will provide a variety of in-kind support. These include mentorship, advisory services on financial modeling and metrics, hosting workshops on credit management to enhance participants' financial and banking awareness and participating in judging panels for the evaluation of participants’ ideas.
