America House Ramallah Opens Its Doors

Ramallah-(BNEWS)- On November 19, the United States Office of Palestinian Affairs re-opened America House Ramallah, a dynamic educational and cultural center for Palestinian youth. 

This newly renovated and expanded venue offers a wide range of opportunities, including English language learning, job skills building, technology courses, EducationUSA advising for students interested in study abroad opportunities and scholarships, networking events, and programs to learn about American culture.  All programs are free and open to the public. 

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, America House Ramallah features programs in robotics, coding, and web development, fostering innovation and professional skill development for both Palestinian youth and professionals in all fields. 

Chief of the United States Office of Palestinian Affairs Hans Wechsel said, “America House Ramallah is not just a place, but it is a community of people who come together to explore new ideas and develop new skills – all of which have the power to bring about positive change.” 

The Office of Palestinian Affairs operates three American Spaces, reaching more than 11,000 young Palestinians annually across East Jerusalem and the West Bank via 800 innovative programs.  By strengthening relationships with Palestinian communities, America House showcases American technology, culture, and values while promoting educational and economic opportunities for Palestinian youth, women, entrepreneurs, educators, civil society, and professionals from all fields.  

The grand opening event took place in Ramallah in the presence of United States Office of Palestinian Affairs staff, official contacts, and alumni of U.S. government-sponsored programs.
