Sharp increase in Palestine’s Producer Price Index

RAMALLAH (BNEWS) – The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 102.57 points in January 2022, as it sharply increased by 3.22 percent compared to December 2021, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

PPI for locally consumed products

Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2019 = 100) reached 102.01 in January 2022, which indicates a sharp increase of 3.49 percent compared to December 2021.

PPI for local exported products

Producer Price Index for local exported products (2019 = 100) reached 107.80 in January 2022, which indicates an increase of 0.93 percent compared to December 2021.
