Announcement of the Launch of the Palestinian Economic Media Alliance

Ramallah-(BNEWS)- A group of Palestinian radio stations, agencies, and news websites focused on economic affairs, along with the Economic Press Club, has announced the launch of the Palestinian Economic Media Alliance.

The alliance includes Radio Al-Raqeeb, Radio Rehan, Sada News Agency – Sada Economy, "Al-Iqtisadi" website, the Palestine Economy Portal, BNEWS, The Miners website, Al-Iqtisadiyah Newspaper – Gaza, and the Economic Press Club, which comprises a select group of Palestinian journalists specializing in economic matters.

The announcement of the alliance's launch took place during a meeting attended by directors, editors-in-chief, and representatives of partner media institutions. During the meeting, an agreement was reached to enhance mutual cooperation among them to advance the economic media sector in Palestine.

The alliance aims to elevate public awareness of economic issues among the Palestinian audience, provide accurate, reliable, and unbiased media content on local, regional, and international economic events with in-depth and objective analysis, and strengthen collaboration among economic media outlets by sharing information and expertise. This initiative seeks to improve the quality of content, expand audience reach, and assist individuals and businesses in understanding current economic challenges and exploring available opportunities in local and international markets. Additionally, it aims to enhance digital economic media content in line with modern media and technological trends.

The alliance will also organize seminars, meetings, and conferences, hosting ministers, officials, economic specialists, institutional and corporate leaders, experts, entrepreneurs, and others to foster discussions and accountability on issues of interest to the Palestinian community. These efforts aim to create a positive and tangible impact on both the media and economic landscapes.

The Palestinian Economic Media Alliance emphasized that its doors are open to all Palestinian radio stations, agencies, newspapers, news websites, and media institutions with an interest in economic affairs, based on a set of principles and criteria established by the founding body.
